It’s Steampunk Week over at Tor books. In addition to news, essays and artwork there are lots of giveaways in store. I’ll be offering 2 2013 desk calendars featuring characters from the Union of Superlative Heroes and Order of Nefarious Villains. 12 individual, one-sided pages for each month. Each month’s page measures 5.4″ x 4.65.” Printed in rich, crime fighting and evil-hearted color on 51 lb, Ultra Premium Presentation Matte paper. Both come in a CD calendar case, which flips open to easily display on a desk, table or any other flat surface.

Imagining an alternate world in which Steampunk superheroes inhabit a Victorian society, the Union of Superlative Heroes are characters from a variety of countries, each with their own unique abilities. This 12 month desk calendar profiles such epic figures as Marquis Le Bat, Stupendous Gent, Empress Amazonia, Arachno Kid, Prince Aqueous, Gentleman Mint plus six more.

The Order of Nefarious Villains serves as the companion set and evil counterpart to the Union of Superlative Heroes.
