The collection showcases 35 new pieces, all paying tribute to the look of vintage matchbox labels with pop culture themes. A selection of pieces are also presented as 3-D matchboxes in shadowbox frames.

Got A Light? Gallery 1988
Join me at the reception at Gallery 1988 Friday, August 24th for the opening of “Got a Light? Matchbox Label Art.” It’s a collection of new artwork celebrating the look of vintage matchbox labels with a pop culture theme. Each of the 35 pieces are available as signed limited edition prints. Along with framed versions there are eleven from the collection presented as 3-D matchbox sculptures in shadowbox frames. There will also be a limited number boxes of matches labeled with a selection of images.
The show will be on display for two weeks and all pieces will be available in Gallery 1988’s online shop on Saturday, August 25th. If you’re in L.A. I hope to see you there!
