Sit Down To Stand Up For Kids: Little Chairs For a Big Cause is Etsy Dallas’ first charity event. If you’re in the Dallas area, mark your calendars for Thursday, October 13th and join in on the fun of a silent auction with food, drinks and music. It’s all for a great cause, as 22 artists will offer up their creative take on the miniature chair design of David Patton. Proceeds from the auction will benefit Dallas Children’s Advocacy Center. “I Want My Music Video Art Show”

I had the pleasure of meeting music video director Chris Marrs Piliero when he dropped by my booth during San Diego’s Comic Con back in July. He invited me to contribute to his (and Dave MacDowell’s) curated “I Want My Music Video Art Show.” Each artist was invited to choose from a predetermined list of music videos and interpret it using their style of art. The resulting collection of work will be showcased at Meltdown Gallery in L.A. on October 7th and runs through October 20th. If you’re in the L.A. area, but sure to drop by and check it out.

My contribution is based on the Johnny Cash cover of the Nine Inch Nails song “Hurt.” Signed Giclee print with inset skeleton and crown elements.
