RBDG Christmas Card 2014

RBDGXmas14

For this year’s annual Russ Berger Design Group Christmas card, I paid tribute to the famous ad pages found within comic books and the Sears catalog wish books of old. Each employee was matched up with an item, along with a few extra well known bits of merchandise. A big thanks to Russ, as always, for the free rein to play.

About 3 weeks ago the front yard and house of my good friends Doug Livingston and Christine Pasienski was transformed into an amazing display of Halloween spookiness. Both are incredibly creative folks and they turned this talent towards creating a landscape of all things Halloween. Many aspects of their environment were created from scratch or cleverly altered to the proper effect. They’ve posted a wonderful collection of photos, which are works of art in themselves, into a beautiful online photo album.

Cinderella Story- Caddyshack Tribute Print

Caddyshack_ChetArt500

The Harold Ramis comedy “Caddyshack” hit theaters in 1980. The stellar cast included Bill Murray, Chevy Chase, Rodney Dangerfield, Michael O’Keefe and Ted Knight. Brian Doyle-Murray called upon his own memories, working as a caddy, and also starred. This cult classic was Harold Ramis’ first feature film and after the end credits rolled, the audience never thought of gophers or Baby Ruth candy bars the same way.
