Bob’s Burgers Hawk & Chick Variant

HawkChickSigning1A very special variant of my “Hawk and Chick: Monster Slayers” print is now available through Gallery 1988. This limited edition of 25 includes the signatures of Keisuke Hoashi and Suzy Nakamura, the voice actors of Hawk and Chick.

Hawk and ChickPrintVariantThe variant stands out from the original by including two additional Kaijus in the distance, as well as a “Chet” chop in the lower right area.

Keisuke and Suzy were so gracious to join in on this fun and I owe a huge debt of thanks to them both. The event couldn’t have happened without the efforts of fellow artist Eugene Kaik, who also created a wonderful Hawk and Chick variant the actors signed. Thanks also to Jensen Karp and Amber of Gallery 1988 and the folks at Bob’s Burgers for making it a reality.

Monsters and Dames- Moriko and the Mighty Akumu

“Moriko and the Mighty Akumu” has been accepted into the 2013 “Monsters and Dames” book. This annual project is an Emerald City Comic Con charity art book that raises money for Seattle Children’s Hospital. A signed print of my entry will also be made available at the ECCC charity art auction. I’m proud to be among the 80 artists chosen from 145 entries for this wonderful showcase. My entry was inspired from an upcoming series of monster characters with a Japanese wood block print flavor. Stayed tuned for more on this project soon.

Sanctuary

New image available in the ChetArt online shop: “Sanctuary” depicts familiar super characters presented in a crossover setting in the style of a Japanese print. Raging radioactive monster roams in the background.

(Graphic in upper right reads: “Vacation Day.”)

Available in 2 sizes signed by the artist: 8″ x 10″ with white border and no mat plus larger version in 11″ x 14 mat.
