June 11th, 1986 saw the premiere of “Ferris Bueller’s Day Off,” a classic John Hughes comedy. 30 years later it remains a classic love note to the city of Chicago and expertly defines “carpe diem” with humor and insight.

The film is full of catch phrases (thanks mostly to Bill Paxton’s character) on top of the terrifying action. My tribute print combines some of the better known quotes and phrases, mixed in with notable icons and a portrait of Ellen Ripley.
