This year at the ChetArt table there will be an abundance of Matchbox art prints, the “Monster Zen” book and a selection of prints from the book, “Imaginary Friend Field Guide” book, new vinyl stickers and greeting cards.
The “Monster Zen” book is a collection of monster illustrations and haiku poems by Chet Phillips. 16 Monsters are showcased. Now available in the ChetArt online shop. A selection of prints from the series available here.
Each book is hand bound in a Japanese style with a variety of Chiyogami paper labels and ribbons. Measures 9.25″ wide x 8.5″ tall. Covers are 100 lb cover stock and pages are printed on 80lb glossy text. Japanese chop translating to “Chet” and artist signature on the inside back cover.

Hero Complex Gallery in L.A. presents a black light art show. My contributions are tributes to Mars Attacks and Invasion of the Saucer Men.
Gallery 1988 (West) presents a collection of artwork inspired by the horror master Stephen King. My contributions pay tribute to Firestarter and Christine with Matchbox art labels.
