ACR Summer Show Booth
The 2nd annual Austin Craft Riot summer show was a big success. Loads of crowds passed through the Austin Music Hall to shop, eat and enjoy the great music. The ChetArt booth was designed with a hands off approach this time around. I floated in the background, allowing elbow room and privacy for folks to pick and choose their favorites. There are so many amazing people in our newfound home of Austin and I was honored to meet them over the weekend and receive their great support. A big thanks to the ACR board members, planners, volunteers and to all who came out for this great event.

Ain’t It Cool
Ain’t It Cool News, based in Austin and founded by Harry Knowles, is dedicated to news and reviews of film and television projects, focusing on science fiction, fantasy, horror and comic book themes. With one season of entertaining interviews, special effects and fun under their belt, (directed by the talented Brett Hart) it’s time to keep the dream alive and get serious about funding a second season of the show. Shelf Life
The dynamic acting duo of Tara Platt and Yuri Lowenthal from Shelf Life graced my SDCC booth this year with a visit and huge purchase of ChetArt merchandise. Shelf Life is described as “An irreverent live-action comedy about 4 action figures on a young boy’s shelf.” In addition to live action parts they also provide voice talent for Cartoon Network shows. Hearing about the passion for their work and the great support was a highlight of the show. Visit their site to learn more.
